Cottage Details
This luxury accommodation, which has been skilfully renovated with period character, features six spacious bedrooms and five bathrooms, four of which are en-suite. The large kitchen with separate dining area is easily able to sit the whole of your party together. The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave and one high chair.
There is a good sized sitting room with television, DVD and stereo and patio doors which open on to a private outdoor area with BBQ facilities, (please bring your own charcoal) and garden furniture, overlooking the wonderful surrounding countryside.
In addition to the kitchen, dining and sitting rooms, the ground floor has a utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge and freezer, a pool table, a large shower room with toilet and wash basin and two bedrooms - one with three single beds and the other with four.
The first floor comprises of one double bedroom with a cot ( bring your own cot bedding please), two king sized rooms which also each have a single bed and a triple room. All of the bedrooms on this floor are ensuite.
All linen, towels and central hearing costs are provided. We provide a small, basic supply of various consumables for your arrival, (such as toilet rolls, dishwasher tablets, etc), but you will need to bring an additional supply to last the duration of your stay, together with the usual items you would normally take on a self-catering holiday.
There is shared use of the tennis court with the other Cottages and you will need to bring rackets and balls. Catering is available on request and we are happy to help and advise on any other arrangements as necessary. This perfect location on the edge of the tiny village of Somersal Herbert is ideal as a base for visiting the many attractions that Derbyshire and nearby Staffordshire have to offer.
